Digital to Tin
There is no substitute for a tintype made from life. But when you have a candid image, a cat,(who will obviously not cooperate in the process), a nervous dog, or sentimental picture that you wish to could see as a tintype instead, digital to tin is a solution for making modern photographic heirlooms.
Your file must be 300 DPI and the size of the plate you’re selecting.
300 DPI at 4x5” or 300 DPI at either 4x5, 5x7, or 8x10.
After purchasing the product email you image to info@vanitytintype.com with the subject line “digitali tin” and the file dimensions. Indicate in the email if you would like to do local pick up. Please note that this service does not include a scanned file.
