Chapstick or lip gloss. This slightest hint of gloss can produce a stunning highlight and really make the perfect portrait
Comb, brush, spray bottle, bobby pins and hair accessory option
AVOID clothing with font or logos. Text will read in reverse and logos date a tintype in a cheesy way.

Several of your child’s favorite toys and or picture books. They serve as charming nostalgic props and a distraction to comfort and soothe
Some of your child’s favorite music loaded onto your phone

GLASSES & TINTYPES…
While your glasses may be an integral accessory to who you are and how you would like to be photographed, they are not always compatible with the strobe lighting we use in our studio. Depending on if your glasses are transition lenses or have any kind of light blocking coating on them, they may appear darker, as they do in the image above on the left.
While we recommend foregoing wearing glasses during your session to ensure a reliable outcome for your image, we also want to honor your unique vision! As you can see from the tintype we have made on the right, it isn’t always impossible to render glasses without shadows or reflections, depending on the circumstances. But we do like clients to be aware that outcome isn’t guaranteed during your session, should you choose to wear glasses.
