VICTORIAN IMAGES MADE TO HONOR DIVERSITY IN THE 21ST CENTURY

Maurene Cooper is the Philadelphian behind Vanity Tintype, a commercial tintype studio in the Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia. Cooper is energized and inspired by the consistent opportunity to use the wet plate process to honor the diversity or her clients and the world we live in.

Cooper has exhibited extensively both nationally and internationally. In addition, her wet-plate projects, Blue Angles and the Caregivers have been reviewed by publications such as New City, Humble Arts Foundation, and Lenscratch.

Vanity Tintype is available for studio work, location, weddings, and pop up events. Read more in our package offerings.
