Our 32mm “pocket locket” is a contemporary reimagining of the 19th century vulcanized plastic union case. This palm sized locket is bade from brass and features a left side hinge, with hidden magnetic closures. The brass case weights 53g including the tintype and protective watch crystal.
Vanity Tintype has collaborated with artisans on Philadelphia’s Historic Jeweler’s Row to create these handmade heirlooms. Each pocket locket is made-to-order in brass featuring either a pre-exisitng tintype or a digital image that we will transform into a tintype. Due to the personalized nature of these pieces, please allow 3-4 weeks for shipping or pick-up from the time your tintype imagery is agreed upon. If providing a digital image to be made into a tintype, please email the image to info@vanitytintype.com and place your order number in the subject line. If providing your own tintype, please mail it to our studio in Philadelphia with tracking.
